Are cookies required in your system to track customers?
Actually, we do not REQUIRE cookies... however if they are available we do use them.
We place a small UserID cookie in the customer's browser in order to identify them as a unique user.
If the customer does not have cookies enabled however, then we use the IP address as the identifier. |
